Quilt Show


I got a few tickets to win this one but did not win it!! Maybe next time!
Havia uma rifa pra esse quilt, comprei alguns ingresos mas nao ganhei! Fica pra proxima.

 I really enjoyed the quilt show here in  town. It's so nice to see all those colors and to imagine that a lot of work went into the creation of one of these incredible pieces.  Some were old quilts in display, one was made in 1945 and another beautiful one made in 1960 and so on...most of them were pretty new and made last year or this year. I wanted one of two of them! Did not got any, shame on me! :) It is something I wish to learn someday! Hope you enjoy the images. Oh the apron below was made from a dresser scarf, she made two of them and gave one way. Clever design.

Foi um bom show, havia muitos Quilts, a maioria era do tamanho de cama de casal. Havia varias de bebes tambem mas nao tirei fotos. Alguns eram novos, feitos esse ano o o ano passado e outros eram da antiguidade. Um quilt felto em 1945 foi muito interessante ver. Havia quilts pra vender tambem.

Esse avental foi feito de uma gravata de mesa,ela fez dois aventais com cada ponta desse paninho de mesa. A saia foi cortada de outra saia e re-utilizada. Adorei esse avental.
