Elaine (aunt of the groom was giving the last touch to the cake! She did an owesome job. Soon I shall have the photos of bride and groom together!

TheThe plates were antigues, each table had a name of a country they had been in. We would have too many tables if we used the names of all the countries they had been in. The sandalwood fans are honor the asian countries where they start dating and where they got engaged. She used vintage ball canning for the center piece.

The bridesmaids, their husbands, cousins of the bride, friends and family members along with the bride and groom all helped to decorate the reception side and also the barn where they had the dance.
The theme of the wedding was travel / vintage.
I loved all the help as you can see they are all working here.
It was a lovely wedding!
We enjoyed the daughter of our daughter Mary and Nick. It was a bit far from our house but for sure closer then if they had done in Brazil as we thought it was going to be at one point. I will share a few photos. Forgive me if I overdo!! The first photos taken the day before at the groom's supper. The grooms parents have a great backyard that was perfect for entertaining.

I believe this is Queen Ann's Lace. We went to see a lake that men in the family were eyeing to go fishing there. It was so beautiful and full of natural flowers.

The weather is very hot here and the farmers are not happy for the crops are suffering. The price of food will   be higher later on.

Ohhh Spring!! Our temperatures here has been too hot and no rain. It has sprinkled a couple of days and nothing else. The farmers are upset. Everyone is amazed on how dry it is. Our lawns are looking terrible. We have automatic sprinklers but they still looks bad. There are dry spots where the sprinkler system doesn´t reach.
We are planning our daughter´s wedding. What a busy time!
I photo from "Mama Mia"...thinking wedding!

Son Alex has been with us since graduating from college and he´s now taking education classes in order to teach eventually. He can take most of his classes online. It´s better for us finacially since we don´t have to pay for a place for him to live in another town. He loves gardening and has grown lots of pepper. I never thought that pepper could have been grown here since we are so up North. He did a good job.
As classes dele sao a maioria atraves do computador.

They have now a little boat that fits 4 and there has been some fishing done!

Daughter looking at the boat. She did go with the guys, this brave girl!
Brother in law got some fish.
