End of May

It's almost the end of May!! I am wishing for this whole year to pass really fast. I also wish for better days ahead.  Isaiah 41:10. 10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God It has been nice despite being rainy lately. The temp is 65 degrees today however it will be warmer later on in the week. It's Memorial Day here in the US so I wish a happy Memorial Day to you all.  We honor those who died serving and those serving. Sad that we couldn't be at the cemetery where our family members who served are laid to rest. This is a shawl I made for someone in my son-in-law's family.  Thinking she can use it this Fall.

His wife was building a nest nearby.
Got a bit more of yarn to finish the blanket, had to get it from knit picks this time. It's a lovely and ever so soft alpaca.

  1. The time flies, doesn’t it? I too can’t believe it’s almost June!

    I love your shawl.
At first I didn’t see the embroidery and thought ‘oh my there’s a huge grasshopper on the table!’ LOL

    Have a wonderful week, Angela.

    1. The grasshopper came from Africa from the time we lived there for a few years. It has lost it's "antenas" but we still like him. It reminds us of all the gigantic grasshoppers there. :) ! Thank you Nil for your visit!

  3. It looks as if you had a productive month with your homemaking. It was a joy to see the blossom, the birds and the walk by the water with your son.

  5. Hello Angela! It's so nice to see what you've been up to lately. Your plant and food photos are just lovely. The fresh, baked bread looks delicious. Not sure what the weather is like where you are now, but here in the south it is beginning to get hot and really humid - not my favorite kind of weather.. Hope you are staying safe and well. Take care.
