 I know it's weed in some country but around here we pay for it and love these lantanas.

Spring going well

Busy days and so much fun! We got done with vacation bible school! Now preparing to travel to attend our church annual conference  which will take four days. We will travel directly from the place of the conference to Minnesota for a week vacation at the lake. There was time also to go to a wedding shower in the country.
I have planted our vegetable garden and all the flowers around the house. It gives one a tiny feeling of accomplishment.

Scones stayed in the oven a bit too long but it still tasted great.

Brazilian Munguza! I am from Brazil originally so sometimes I make Brazilian food. There are lots of recipes online for this. I usually make it with only coconut milk and add two sticks of cinnamon. I don't like cloves in this recipe. I also add dehydrated coconut.

This church's tree was so full of bees that it was so fun to stand under it to hear the buzzing. The pastor is in a hurry to go indoors.

At the wedding shower

This was a game, each table chose a girl to be the toilet paper dress girl and at the end the winner would get a prize. The girl in the left was the one from our table, we all helped to "dress" her and she was the winner!!

Beautiful days

It has been beautiful with rain that makes everything green. However the cloudy days and the extra water all around the farmers fields doesn't make them happy.

 I bought this Heliotrope with me from the nursery. Love the tiny flowers.

 I got this in Africa years ago when we lived there. We were driving when I saw this site that looked like one super long clothes line with drying clothes. It was full of these table clothes in various colors. I wish I could make it stop bunching up in the cloth part. I liked the colors.

 I bought these this year, I like the bluish lavender color.

 Whau, what crazy eyes. Wonder what are their names. I should get a field guide to birds of this area.

 Great nursery not far from our house.

 Trying to learn and wish there was a bit more patterns out there. I looked in pinterest but they have so many of those complicates ones. It would be nice if there was more for beginners.

 This was the group that decided to go out and have some fun. I am not a painter not even in my imagination but it was fun to go out with the ladies and participate in one of these art groups. There was 5 of us from our church.
