Mid July

Hi there, Hard to believe it's the middle of July but here we are. In my last trip to town I could see that the stores already have the school supplies out. The kids are getting ready to go back to school for a new school year.
“Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute,” (Psalm 82:3)
Our lillies are starting to bloom.
Answer: My granddaughter and for second question the answer is: Talkative! At least that is what I think. How would answer these questions?

We had a rain storm last night so today we need to pick the branches and sticks that falls from the trees. It's so nice to see all the green now and free of snow!
The white things in the law is a cottony seed that falls from the Cotton Wood tree. That isn't a great quantity of seeds but we've had a lot before like this photo.

  Hummus.

The flowers in front have about one thousand of these cute insects.
The hummus turned out pretty creamy.
Potato salad

I didn't kill some of the daises growing among my flowers because I think they are cute. I also have some huge African daisies that a friend gave a plant two years ago.
Apple sour cream pie. This recipe is from Alicia. Click here.

Our lovely hydrangeas are blooming nicely, we have three blooms and new one to come.
Our sweet visitors to the bird feeder.

We are getting some Chard and beet greens. I love how crispy and delicious they are.

“Learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, and please the widow’s cause,” (Isaiah 1:17).
Wishing a great weekend to everyone!
XOXO

  4. This is the last week of the school term for most children here. The high school young people have been off school after exams and have been choosing their Prom dresses or suits. School or college starts again in September. It's nice to have grandchildren around. Lovely flowers in your garden. Our candy pink phlox flowers have just started to open. Amazing dragon fly photo on yours and the bird is very colourful.
