Our simple Easter meal. It was just me, my husband and our son who is living with us for now.
It was so sweet to receive cards with beautiful Easter messages.

Happy Easter, Angela!
ReplyDeleteThanks Nil!! It was great!
DeleteHappy Easter! Lovely that embroidered tablecloth. You have an almost similar sewing machine as mine, but you probably have a newer one :)
ReplyDeleteKiitos!! The machine it's about 4 years old now. Not so new anymore. It's very basic and simple but I don't do any complex sewing so it serves well.
DeleteYour reading material will be a blessing and as you make the masks they will be a blessing to others. Reminders of God's goodness are all around in your home.
ReplyDeleteThank you! Keep safe and well!
DeleteHow quickly time flies. Your little sweetie is growing up! Adorable. Have a great week and stay safe!
ReplyDeleteThank you Marie!

ReplyDeleteThank you Kim!
DeleteUm...is that cinnamon sprinkled on mac n' cheese shells?
ReplyDelete"May the Lord bless you and keep you safe!"
Amen! You too.
LOVE that his shirt has Korean (?) letters on it! Is that in reference to a Korean team?
Yes indeed it is Korean Sandi, how did you know? He used to live and work in S.Korea.
DeleteIt is hominy with coconut milk and sugar...it is a Brazilian dish called Munguza!
DeleteWhat a lovely dinner you had for Easter, and how wonderful that you are able to enjoy your son and granddaughter! Such special moments! I've made plenty of masks too. The need is great! Many blessings to you sweet friend!
ReplyDeleteThis is my son-in-law! He is like a son to us! Thank you Marilyn!!! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteYour grand daughter is growing so fast. Seems like you were just sharing her birth. The time is swirling by me.
ReplyDeleteThank you for so many good recipes, especially that pie. Must try that.
Foggy pictures are just so pretty and relaxing to gaze at.
Easter meal looks so good and those butter beans are something we have quite often. Mom and Dad had a rows of them for us to pick as children and it was a chore opening the pods and getting them out, so many to shell but so little it looked like it yielded.
I was disappointed to see that churches could not have drive in or through service but we could have drive through food pick up. Never made much sense and quite a few people felt the same way. I got up early Easter Morn to see the Sun Rise and feel what makes the day so very special.
Good to see all is well with you and your family, betsy
Thank you Betsy! We love butter beans. We call them Lima beans :) . I too have memories of opening fresh beans out of the garden, we had black eye peas too and that I remember was hard to shell. Oh the older I get the more memories I have inside of me. Take care!!
